Read moreResidents and commuters in Ballyconnell should be aware of an upcoming road closure on Main Street. From Monday, November 6th, to Friday, November 10th, and again from Monday, November 13th, to Wednesday, November 15th, Main Street will be closed to traffic from 8 am to 6 pm. This temporary closure is necessary to facilitate resurfacing work in the area.
To ensure smooth traffic flow during this period, alternative routes have been designated via the N87 Ring Road and Daisyhill Roundabout. These routes will be clearly marked with signposts to guide drivers throughout the duration of the roadworks.
Access to the Breffni Care Centre, an essential service for the community, will still be available during the road closure. The specific route to the care center will depend on the location of the ongoing works at that time. Alternative routes will be set up to guarantee that visitors and staff can reach the facility without any disruptions.
While the Main Street is closed for resurfacing, local traffic in the immediate vicinity of the works will be accommodated as far as possible, ensuring minimal disruption for residents and businesses in the area. The aim is to complete the road improvements swiftly and efficiently to benefit the entire community.
