Major Solar Energy Project Proposed for Ballyconnell Area
A significant renewable energy development has been proposed for the Ballyconnell area, with Mannok Cement Ltd seeking permission for a solar farm that could offset the carbon emissions equivalent of 89,000 trees annually. The application for the 9.3-hectare facility has been submitted to Cavan County Council.
